AMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced that ACE COMBAT ASSAULT HORIZON for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system will be released on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in North America and in Europe on October 14, 2011. The game invigorates the franchise and brings intense action into the fore, with in-air acrobatics, counter-maneuvers and new destructive effects that show buildings shattering and aircrafts getting shredded to pieces.
Featuring a story written by New York Times' bestselling military author, Jim DeFelice, writer of Leopards Kill and Threat Level Black, ACE COMBAT ASSAULT HORIZON puts players in the shoes of a top gun pilot in an international task force. The engaging war drama will span real-world locations, such as Dubai and Russia, and incorporate new categories of aircrafts, including super-sonic jets and the introduction of the attack helicopter, door gunner and more.
