First, if you are the uploader on YouTube, we want to thank you for sharing your video to the gaming community.

MyTopTrailer shows only videos with the following settings:

• Hosted on YouTube
• Gaming Related
• Public
• Embedding Allowed

Settings for a video have been made by the uploader either during the upload process or afterwards in the video options.

Our intention to show all these videos is pretty simple. We deliver video content to the passionate video gamer, that is sorted by games and categories.
YouTube itself does not support sorting their video content by multiple and different game titles. We are trying to do it in a way, that makes it very easy to follow these games and the videos uploaded for them.

We got a lot sharing tools, so sharing the videos on almost every social platform is possible. Our visitors get a very easy and quick access to gaming videos. This is a major advantage for the uploader, who might think his video is lost in the sheer amount of videos on YouTube.

We are using the official YouTube player to embed the videos and we do not change anything to the videos! The video options, defined by the uploader on YouTube, also apply here on MyTopTrailer. You - the uploader - still have the full rights, ownership and control about it.

All benefits and credits for a video are given to the uploader. The title, displayed in the player, is linked back to the YouTube video. The author is also named and his channel linked back to YouTube. This makes it possible to quickly subscribe to a channel there.
Also, all views of a video here on MyTopTrailer are counting to the general views of a video.

Summary: We are really trying our best to spread out the word, that your video is "there!" and to make sure it will be found very easily.

All the uploaders, who support us with a link to MyTopTrailer in their video description, will get an additional Subscribe Widget in the top/right corner of the video page. This makes it even easier to subscribe to their channel by just 1 click.
Also these videos will be listed on the Featured Videos page, to get a very quick access to them.

To get your own Subscribe Widget, just post a link to http://www.mytoptrailer.com in your video description.
Every link to any of our pages will work, as long as it contains either http://www.mytoptrailer.com or http://mytoptrailer.com in its string.

The advanced version of a backlink is a link to your own video at MyTopTrailer. Your uploaded video gets 2 direct links assigned by YouTube:

• http://youtu.be/abcdefghijk (short version)
• http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abcdefghijk (long version)

In both cases there is abcdefghijk the video ID. Note: This an example ID, that will not work. It has to be replaced by your own.

Now, add a link into the description of the video that looks like:
abcdefghijk
(Copy/Paste this URL in the box and add your own video ID and not "abcdefghijk", it is an example!)

Very Important: We search automatically for these links on YouTube. YouTube does not recognize links that are too far at the end of long descriptions. Unfortunately, this does not deliver these videos back to us, thus we can't show them on the Featured Videos page. Place these backlinks as close as possible to the top of the description, to make sure YouTube delivers them in the search results.
If this does not help, additionally write "mytoptrailer.com" within the Tags of the video.

It is also important that one of the categories of the video is set to Gaming. Otherwise, your video will not appear on the Featured Videos page.

A subsequently added link can take up to 48 hours until it is updated on MyTopTrailer, depending on the last update. Although, the Featured Videos page updates every hour and your video will be listed there, once the link is implemented.

Check the update info below the video on our video page. Current cycle is 48 hours, so be patient, when it doesn't pop up immediately.
You don't need to inform us, it's an auto-updating procedure.

For best and immediate result, add this link during the upload, when YouTube makes the ID available. This is also a way, to make it 100% sure, that your video appears on MyTopTrailer.

Add the link, save the changes, wait for the end of the publishing process on YouTube and then click the link in the description. And here we go, your video and the Subscribe Widget together on MyTopTrailer.

Time effort: less than a minute for a video
And it draws way more attention, than the simple backlink to your channel, that we support anyway.

Currently, we are displaying so much different videos daily, that it is absolutely impossible to give every user a note, that his videos are on MyTopTrailer.
Usually the most users like it, that we show their videos on our platform. But still, if you don't want your videos here, then we give you a little help how to prevent this.

There are 3 methods to handle this and all of them are very easy to use.

Go to YouTube and log into your account.
Choose Video Manager from the account drop down menu. This will lead you to Video Manager / Uploads, where you can edit your videos.
Select a video and then click "Edit". This brings you to the "Info and Settings" page for the video.

Now choose the "Advanced Settings" tab, right next to the "Basic Info".
On the right side you'll find the "Embedding" option. Disable this.

This will prevent to show your video on MyTopTrailer, but also on every other external website. Your video won't be listed in our search results or suggestions.

Place the following command anywhere in your video description (only in the description-field, not title-field or tags-field) to prevent the video shows up on MyTopTrailer:

mtt_disable_video

Note: If you add this command subsequently to your description, it can take up to 48 hours until it is updated on MyTopTrailer.
You don't need to inform us, it's an auto-updating procedure.

This will prevent to show your video on MyTopTrailer, but not on every other external website. Your video will be listed in our search results or suggestions.

Go to YouTube and log into your account. Now send us a message to MyTopTrailer or just use this link:
http://www.youtube.com/inbox?to_users=MyTopTrailer&action_compose=1

Tell us that you don't want to show your channel content on MyTopTrailer. Then we will make your videos unplayable.

This will prevent to show all of your videos on MyTopTrailer, but not on every other external website. Your videos will be listed in our search results or suggestions.

However, this will only work when we receive a message via YouTube. This makes sure, that your request is valid and not a fake from someone else, who is pretending to be you.
Messages via regular email, contact form or messages in the comment box of a videopage will not be accepted for that reason.
